I believe that you also know what you need in order to heal.

I used to be in a state of constant stress. This meant I felt restless and anxious all the time, but also tired and like I couldn’t move. The energy inside of me couldn’t find an outlet. I scrolled endlessly on Instagram to cope. I had adrenal fatigue.

I tried every coping mechanism I could find, whether they were spiritual, supplemental, emotional, mental… you name it! But what I ultimately found was this all just ‘managed’ my stress levels, instead of solving them at the root. I had a complex daily routine of tools and practices to keep the stress from escalating, and I didn’t always succeed.

The root was nervous system dysregulation. And when I started to work on THAT, and supported my Kidneys, everything shifted. After a few months of doing nervous system work, I started to notice a deep sense of PEACE that just came up from my body. I didn’t have to chase it or force it down from my head or crown chakra into my body – it was bottom-up. I didn’t have to desperately hold on to it. It was just – there.

And it still is. No matter what happens, there is a new baseline of peace. Even when I have to deal with a difficult situation, it doesn’t spin me out. I can still feel panic or agitated. But it dissipates relatively quickly. My system just doesn’t let me get stuck in these states anymore, the way it used to be. That’s what’s called ‘nervous system regulation’. We are not the ones that have to ‘regulate’ our nervous system through coping like I described above. We need to enable our body to restore its natural regulation.

There is no quick fix to get here. I want to share the 4 foundational nervous system practices I found that shifted everything for me over the course of a few months. These practices work over time, through repetition and a deep attunement to the natural pace of your body. Some days, you won’t want to do them, because they are too overwhelming – and that is great, and you better listen to it! It needs time to integrate. You are rewiring your nervous system and stress organs – this all gets explained in the bundle.
